About the program
The AWS Certification Journey is an AWS Partner-dedicated program to help individuals prepare and pass an AWS Certification. This program provides the opportunity to join a team of candidates and challenge yourself with the AWS French Partner Team. This program is currently supporting AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certifications.
Who should attend
This program is dedicated to individuals currently working in an AWS Partner organization at the Registered level who want support and access to peers with the very same objective: pass the AWS Certification. AWS is scheduling one meeting every 4 weeks to support and challenge participants, demystify the certification exam, give methodology, and share best practices. A registered individual gains access to a dedicated chat room with the Journey team including other AWS Partners and AWS French Partner Team to ask any question related to the certification process and architecture knowledge. Participants in the program commit to begin the journey with an exam date and to share the results of the exam with the AWS French Partner Team.

What is the AWS Certification Journey Program?
The AWS Certification Journey Program is an AWS Partner-dedicated program to help individuals prepare and pass their AWS Certification exam. This program is not an AWS Training & Certification program. Candidates can review all AWS Training & Certification offerings online here.
What are the requirements for this program?
The requirements are the following:
1. Candidates MUST be individuals working in an AWS Partner company already registered in the APN
2. Candidates MUST have an exam date prior or by the end of the on-boarding session.
3. Candidates MUST train by themselves in addition of the AWS Certification Journey program as the program is not a training program but a way to help individuals to prepare and pass the exam.

How does it work?
On-boarded candidates gain access to a dedicated Amazon Chime Room where they can directly exchange with other candidates and the AWS Partner Team about the AWS Certification and the exam. They also have access to weekly meetings, Challenges, where the AWS Partner Team will ask questions similar to past exams to the candidates and explain the logic to find out the right answer.

I don’t have an account on the APN, how can I register?
Self-register for access to APN Partner Central here.
I already have a personal certification account, how can I connect it to my APN account?
You can add a personal AWS Certification (CertMetrics) account email address to your APN Partner Central Profile Page. You can do so during the self-registration process, or by updating your profile with the following steps:
- Log in to APN Partner Central
- Select View My Profile
- On the My Profile tab, click “Edit”
- Scroll down to the AWS Certification section and enter in your email to “AWS T&C Account Email”
- Select “Yes” in the consent to share your AWS Certifications box
- Click “Submit”
How do I move my AWS Certifications if I switch companies?
If you have taken an AWS Certification with a previous employer and then moved to a new AWS Partner firm, please follow the directions found here.
I ordered vouchers with AWS Training & Certification and am waiting for the order before I schedule my exam. Can I still join the program?
To join the sessions, you need an exam date; you can either schedule and take the exam without using the voucher, or you can wait for the next session to use your vouchers.

How can I register to Amazon Chime?
You can register for an Amazon Chime account here.
Note: if you are logged into your Amazon Shopping account, you will have an alert and you MUST log off your Amazon Shopping account to register with your professional email.
Once this done, you will receive an invitation to the program room to interact with all other candidates.
What happens if we miss a session?
It’s ok! Sessions are very similar and methodology is explained each time so you won’t lose important information. The main point is to practice and challenge yourself regularly so it’s ok if you miss one session.
Can we change the time of the session?
No. It’s difficult to set up meetings with a lot of people and all the candidates must organize themselves to join the sessions. Sessions are scheduled and sent by the end of the on boarding session and are generally on the same day of the week on the 6pm to 7pm slot, for 3 weeks.

How can we extend the time for our exam?
I booked my exam but I don’t have the extra time what can I do?
You can enable it afterwards and call either PSI or PearsonVue to take it into account.
